Shello, Humans and Merfolks! My name is Ariel Mayumi Wolf.
I am a half Japanese and American Mermaid who loves to draw and paint. Born in Japan, I grew up going to the Disney theme park in Tokyo and always enjoyed Disney movies, especially "The Little Mermaid." I often would fantasize about becoming a real mermaid, and the best way to dive in my dreams were my drawings. After many tides, my dreams of becoming a mermaid artist drifted away and life went on. For couple of years I had a realistic job as a human, as Sabastian the Crab would say "Up on the shore they work all day
Out in the sun they slave away ...." and so I did, Then I finally realized that the human job was a mess, I had to find my way back in the ocean where I belonged.
So I dove back in to the waters. I admit I was very skeptical at first if anyone would ever be interested in my art, but it turns out the waves were on my side. My very first project was a painting of Ariel and Prince Eric .
In the hopes of someday displaying the canvas for my future Little Mermaid theme wedding, this particular painting actually took me about a year and several months to compete. The Merfolk's on my so-SHELL media were messaging me to and fro about commission work, so here I am! drawing animated mermaid to bring happiness not only to myself but also to my costu-MERs.
